5 Cool Snare Drum Solos
I wanted to post a few of my favorite snare drum solo videos for you to enjoy. The first one is Ivan Pacheco. Check out the showmanship. I mean playing with your elbow?
Next up is Casey Brohard from the 2005 DCI. The video quality is not the best but I think you'll get the general idea from this one.
No snare drum solo post would be complete without at least one Vic Firth video. Check out the balance and control on this one.
OK. This one's more of a workshop talking about the snare drum solo section of a larger drum solo but hey, it's Neil Peart and I couldn't resist.
This last one isn't a snare drum solo per se. Rather it's one of my favorite classic drum solo performances by two of the best to ever hold a pair of sticks, Phil Collins and Chester Thompson.
